biaxial creep (noun): often used in conjunction with stress and fatigue tests performed on various metal. Or. A band which blends jazz, IDM glitch work, industrial beats and epic sound-scapes. A band that fuses technological instrumentation with organic composition. Biaxial Creep was formed by Swante J of Seattle in 2003 and has sense been joined by the collaberations of musicans/producers bios+a+ic (entropic advance) and Patrick Urn (Backwards Records NW). Rounding out the roster is local Video-Jockey Low Rez, who mixes original video selections with a home-made fractal generator, matching sound to visuals. This band blends the musical aesthetics of Gridlock, Meat Beat Manifesto, and Autechre and sound as if they could create a fitting soundtrack for Blade Runner, Sin City, and a Michael Mann sex scene. |
